BARCS "Wish List"

Caring for our animals requires a lot of time, love, money, and supplies. Below is BARCS "Wish List." Donating the following items help us with the day-to-day care of our animals and support our operational needs.

Items can be dropped off during the BARCS Hours of Operation. You can find directions to the shelter on our Directions page. Remember, even used items can help our animals. All donations are tax deductible.

For the Dogs

• Toys that are Durable/washable (i.e. Kongs, hard bones, nylabones, etc)
• Towels - bath size, cotton
• Leashes - regular, slip leads
• Treats - no raw hides please
• Dog and puppy food - Science Diet wet/dry - unopened
• Stainless steel bowls all sizes
• Puppy replacement milk and nursing bottles
• Hay for outside dog runs
• Choker chains of all sizes for dog walking
• Kuranda beds (see the link to donate a bed on our home page)

Cats are Scratching for...

• Toys
• Towels - bath size, cotton
• Treats
• Cat and kitten food - Science Diet wet/dry - unopened
• Stainless steel food/water bowls (prefer small, non-flip)
• Kitten replacement milk and nursing bottles
• Stainless steel litter pans,
• Cardboard box bottoms to cases of food/etc for "throw away" litter pans
• Litter - non-clumping

Animal Care Supplies

• Paper towels
• Laundry detergent
• Dish detergent
• Latex gloves
• Heavy duty trash bags
• Hot water pads
• Q-tips
• Cotton balls
• Crates/carriers
• Grooming equipment (Shavers, brushes, scissors, shampoo, nail clippers, flea combs, etc)
• Dust pans and brushes/brooms
• Tight seal Rubbermaid containers

Office

• Copy paper (white and other colors)
• Pens
• Staplers/staples
• Hanging file folders
• Paper trays
• Ink Cartridges (Black hpc6656a (56), tri color hpc6657a (57), photo print hpc6658a (58), Black T0481, Cyan T0482, Magenta T0483, Yellow T0484, Light Cyan T0485, Light Magenta T0486)

• Carts with wheels to transport heavy items
