Baxter

Baxter, a retriever mix, came to the shelter severely injured. Due to the extent of his injures, we assumed that he had been hit by a car. Thanks to donations to the Franky Fund, we were able to transport him to Everhart Animal Hospital for further evaluations and x-rays. Sadly the x-rays revealed that he suffered a crushed pelvis requiring major surgery and recovery time.

Luckily for Baxter, a rescue group agreed to take Baxter into their program so that he could get the surgery he needed. He will spend his time with the rescue until he is able to be placed in their adoption program. Good luck Baxter!
