King

At 2 years old and 46 lbs, this tall, skinny guy has the traditional goofy lab/shepherd personality and charisma but with a hobble. With your help, we were able to get him steady on his feet again.

King was originally given up because his owners couldn't care for him. Unfortunately he was injured and was not being properly treated. King's injuries were to the ligaments in both front paws causing him unable to walk properly. BARCS volunteers raised money for his expensive surgery, giving King the opportunity of a lifetime.

King was in a foster home during his recovery and rehabilitation after 2 surgeries. King fell in love with his foster family and they fell in love with him! After several months of care and rehab, Kings foster family decided to adopt him into their home forever. We guess his cute hobble and hug behavior just won their hearts forever! Thank you to everyone involved in supporting King so that he was able to have his second chance.
