Little Tripod was picked up as a stray kitten by animal control and brought to BARCS in June 2008.
It appeared his left rear leg was missing and it seemed to be an old injury. Tripod was sent to Everhart Animal Hospital where it was determined his leg had been crushed. The best chance for this happy inquisitive little kitten was to amputate the remaining portion of his leg. Tripod hops around and plays just like any kitten now and doesn’t seem to notice he is different than any other kitten.
Tripod is now in a foster home where he is being cared for until he is old enough to go up for adoption. If you are interested in adopting Little Tripod, please call the Foster Coordinator at BARCS today!
