Mahri

Mahri was approximately 5.5 months old when Animal Control brought her to BARCS as a stray dog. She was not applying weight to her hind leg, and her hip was swollen.

Mahri proved to be a very friendly dog, as she licked the vet during her entire examination despite the pain she was in. Sadly, Mahri's hip was broken. We transported her to Everhart animal hospital, where they performed surgery that included inserting a pin into her hip. She spent time at the vet hospital recovering before returning to BARCS.

One of the many rescue groups that works with BARCS took her in. She will remain with the rescue as she recovers and awaits her new home.
