Just this week, an adorable Lab/Shepherd-mix came to BARCS. This pup's owner heard him yelping in the backyard and discovered that he had been burned. Unfortunately, the owner did not have the funds to treat the dog, so she called Animal Control, who picked him up and brought him to BARCS. He is so sweet and even with a burn wound on his back and singed whiskers, he wagged his tail for us. We named him Singe and sent him out for treatment. Currently, he is still at the vets getting IV fluids and treatment for an infection. The veterinarian told us his treatment will cost around $1,000.
