Sweet Pea

Sweat Pea came to BARCS with a bladder problem. She seemed very sweet even though it was obvious she was in severe pain and distress. During her general vet exam, it appeared that Sweat Pea had a large mass in her abdomen. Thanks to donations to the Franky Fund, we were able to send her to the Everhart Animal Hospital for further evaluation and x-rays. It turned out Sweat Pea had a bladder stone the size of an egg!

She had surgery where the stone successfully removed. Once the stone was out, Sweat Pea felt much better and she showed us just how kind and gentle she really is. She went into BARCS foster care program where she had a very kind foster parent help her recover. Happily, Sweet Pea's foster family fell in love with her and ended up adopting her for life! Thanks to the Franky Fund and wonderful volunteers, Sweat Pea has a second chance at life.
