Wanda

Wanda and her four kittens were brought to BARCS by animal control after being found on the streets. Wanda came in with a severe injury to her left eye and the kittens had an upper respiratory infection.

Staff fell in love with Wanda. Even with her eye injury, Wanda was a very sweet and loving mom. Wanda and her four kittens were placed in a foster home where they continued to receive treatments paid by the BARCS Franky Fund. The volunteer foster parents administered daily medications to Wanda and her kittens and all of them have shown improvements.

Now that the kittens are able to eat on their own, Wanda will be sent to see an ophthalmologist to see if there is anything more that can be done for her eye. Thanks to everyone for their donations to the Franky Fund which help many animals including moms and kittens like these. Also, we'd like to thank the special foster parents that take in animals that need so much care! Without you, this would not be possible!
