Zella

Zella is a young adult female Rottweiler who was picked up by animal control and brought to BARCS after having been hit by a car. She had a leg injury and was transported to Everhart Animal Hospital where it was determined that she had a fractured leg.

Thanks to BARCS' Franky Fund, she underwent surgery where a pin was placed in her leg so that it could heal properly. Zella stayed at the hospital for approximately a month as they continued to monitor her progress. She required multiple surgeries to repair it. A staff member at the hospital found someone to adopt Zella from BARCS. She will continue her recovery in her new home.

Thanks to the caring staff at Everhart, Zella has a second chance.
