Welcome to the
May edition of the
BARCS E-News "Scoop,"
an update on the happenings at the Baltimore
Animal Rescue & Care Shelter.
Please forward the Scoop to your friends and
family - help spread the word about BARCS! May is an action-packed month at BARCS!
We have many scheduled events, so please
come out and meet our adoptable animals and
help us raise funds and awareness to help
the homeless animals in Baltimore.
BARCS would like to thank our many
supporters! From those who donated to
the
Franky
Fund and the
Annual Fund, to our numerous
volunteers and staff, we rely greatly on
your generosity and service. Thank you
for supporting Baltimore City's own animal
shelter! |
Spring brings a flood of
critters to BARCS
Spring is here, bringing with it many needy
kittens and puppies to BARCS. Area residents can help BARCS
handle this overflow in several ways. In addition to
adopting a
shelter pet,
spay and neuter
your own pet, become a
foster parent
to a shelter animal, make a
donation,
or
volunteer at
the shelter. Of
course, during this spring season there is a wide variety of animals to adopt.
This Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th, ALL animal
adoptions are ONLY $40! (regular adoption fee is $65). The
"special" $40 rate includes spaying or neutering, an examination, the first
shots, and de-worming. Please adopt and help to save a life.
This Saturday, May 3rd and
Sunday, May 4th ONLY, animal adoptions are only $40!
